Heute Vormittag startete aus Chemnitz unser Hilfstransport für die Menschen in der Erdbebenregion um Idlib/Syrien. Der Transport ist dabei ein Zusammenspiel vieler regionaler und überregionaler Partner:innen.
Geladen hat er unter anderem 156 Matratzen von der Firma Neveon und medizinischen Bedarf, wie Schutzkittel, Masken, Handschuhe, intensiv-medizinische Produkte, Behandlungsliegen, Rollstühle, Gehilfen, Rollatoren und ein Ultraschallgerät. Außerdem eine große Menge an Hygieneartikeln und Bekleidung für Frauen, Männer und Kinder.
Beim Zukauf der medizinisch-technischen und Hygieneprodukte wurden wir tatkräftig vom Verein Avicenna Kultur- und Hilfswerk unterstützt. Ein großes Dankeschön geht auch an alle Spender:innen des islamisch kulturellen Vereins Chemnitz für die zahlreichen Sachspenden und Unterstützung beim Sortieren.
Der Transport wird jetzt knapp eine Woche bis an die türkisch-syrische Grenze benötigen. Dort wird er umgeladen und von unserem Partner Human Plus e.V. nach Idlib gebracht. Ziel ist das Krankenhaus in Idlib sowie die Verteilung der Hilfsgüter vor Ort an bedürftige Menschen. Drückt die Daumen, dass der Transport jetzt möglichst schnell ankommt und so dort hilft, wo Hilfe am dringendsten gebraucht wird!
Diese Maßnahme wird mitfinanziert durch Steuer-mittel auf der Grundlage des vom Sächsischen Landtag beschlossenen Haushaltes und kommunal gefördert durch die Stadt Chemnitz.
Transport to the region Idlib/Syria
This morning our transport for the people in the earthquake region around Idlib/Syria started from Chemnitz. The transport is a cooperation of many regional and national partners.
Among other things it loaded 156 mattresses from the company Neveon and medical supplies such as protective gowns, masks, gloves, intensive medical products, treatment beds, wheelchairs, walkers, rollators and an ultrasound scanner. In addition a large quantity of hygiene items and clothing for women, men and children is going to Syria.
For the purchase of the medical-technical and hygiene products we were actively supported by the association Avicenna Kultur- und Hilfswerk. A big thank you also goes to all donors of the association Islamisch Kultureller Verein Chemnitz for the numerous donations and support in sorting.
The transport will now take about a week to reach the Turkish-Syrian border. There it will be reloaded and brought to Idlib by our partner Human Plus e. V.. The destination is the hospital in Idlib as well as the distribution of the relief supplies on site to people in need. Keep your fingers crossed that the transport will arrive as quickly as possible and thus urgently help where help is needed the most right now!
